NARAFFAR, the first staffless convenience store

In the small Sweedish town of Viken, NARAFFAR is the first unmanned convenience store open 24/7, 365.

To do your grocery, you just need to download the shop’s app and register as a customer. Your smartphone will allow you to enter the store and scan your products. At the end of the month, you receive a bill for all of your items.

The store, which relies on the honesty of customers, is also protected by six surveillance cameras.

The store provides a great alternative for customers, who would otherwise have to drive long distances to the nearest supermarket. Could the store be replicated in other isolated places?
